Wow, really great case, so much to talk about (✿◠‿◠) It's always refreshing to see a criminal who doesn't immediately break down and cry after admitting to their crimes, as if they're just now realising that they've ruined their entire life and instead they start to showboat, because realistically I'd imagine there's a lot more criminals who are proud of what they did than what this show portrays. So satisfying seeing Yokomizo elbow him across the hallway though, I think he's my favourite Yokomizo brother lol Another thing I love to see is how a crime can be portrayed in so many ways that are all almost equally believable regardless of whether it's the truth. I fully believed from the start that it was Rumi on the bathroom floor, but Sera saying she was holding her breath for an extended and random amount of time in a chloroform-filled room immediately broke that idea for me, only for Kudou to spin a completely different version of the crime, crazy how well thought out some of these episodes are! And the makeup under the face mask bothered me from the start but I never copped that Sera wouldn't have noticed, being such a tomboy and all (｡●́‿●̀｡) lol
